Stardate 820-blhvn
So! This is my first post pertaining to my life as a Blazer/havenite (as we are called). I'll do my best not to bore anyone with these posts lolAnyway! Yesterday was an ice cream social for all the theatre majors (freshman and returning students). It was very enlightening and encouraging to know that there are other people on this campus who randomly talk in funny voices, burst forth into song, and give each other big bear hugs when they see each other. I'm so, so excited to start my theatre classes and get to know them better. Afterwards the RAs lead a worship/prayer service in the chapel (apparently a BLAZE tradition). Then in the flex theatre (short for flexible theatre) we all watched Spiderman 3 on a big screen that was set up. It was pretty sweet :D
When I bought my textbooks today, I discovered that those of us in the Theatre Biomechanics class get to wear these amazing uniforms:
(I apologize for the urinals in the background lol) I've pretty much decided that I'll be wearing it outside of class as well...
*funky french accent* It makes me feel seeexy...
hehe Anyway- I'm off to the square dance soon (you've GOT to love Belhaven), and tomorrow we have a road trip to Twin Lakes... at 8:30 in the morning. lol fun fun fun

oh my gosh yes School House Rock! my favorites were always I'm Just a Bill, Interplanet Janet, 3 is a Magic Number, and Conjunction Junction :P

We had our first Babes in Toyland rehearsal today & I`ve decided I`m going to miss you, Lindsey and Andy a lot!!
